Brooke recently filmed an episode of 'In a Heartbeat' entitled "The Boy's No Good". It'll most likely air later this year or early next.

Site Survey Results
Thanks to everyone who participated in the site survey. Now here's some points that people brought up:

More Color: I'm not a big fan of colors for some odd reason (take a look in my closet!) and I'm always paranoid about how colors show up on other browsers and if they clash, but in an attempt to add some, I've added a small pic with each update and I'll try to work out a new color scheme.

More Photos/Photos in Newsletter: I try to scan in and cap any and all appearances I can find, but there's just been a lack of them lately. As for photos/colors in the newsletters, I don't know what programs people are using for their email, but some don't support colors/photos and it just ends up looking like a mess, which is why I stick with plain text.

Some Pictures Look Awful!: If you're using AOL, turn off the 'graphics compression'. Pages might load faster but a lot of photos/graphics are screwed up. Some photos aren't that great because the source isn't that great.

Zipping/Multimedia Problems: Did you download the codec needed to view the AVI files? That's usually the problem most people have. Also, I zip files to try to make 'em a bit smaller for uploading and downloading so you're going to need an unzip utility, there's several free ones out there so it shouldn't be a problem.

Tobias/Rachel Stuff: This is a Brooke site as opposed to a 'Rachel' site so I'm trying to focus on the actress rather than the character.

Brooke's latest project is another CBS mini-series entitled 'Haven'. According to Brooke it may air February 2001.

Synopsis from cbs.com: In the tradition of Schindler's List, Natasha Richardson stars as Ruth Gruber, the true-life heroine who saved a thousand Jewish refugees from war-torn Italy by helping them cross the perilous Atlantic on a liberty ship during World War II. Once in America, Gruber establishes these immigrants in an upstate New York community, keeping them safe through the end of the war.

The nominations for Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards are in and "Animorphs" has been nominated again in the 'Favorite Book' category.

Kids will have the opportunity to cast their votes both on and off air in a total of 25 categories. Voting kicks off on February 28 at participating Burger King® restaurants nationwide, where kids can cast their votes through March 12. From March 13 through March 27, kids can go to nick.com to choose their favorite stars, including 10 categories that will be exclusive to online voting. Kids can also vote by calling a toll-free number Nickelodeon will be flashing on air during programming from March 20 through 24 and on Saturday night March 25 during SNICK.

Okay, an addendum to the future of Animorphs. It's not really looking good for a 3rd season since there were only six episodes made for season 2 and the show is currently not in production. The press release listed their returning shows with a slate of new episodes, Animorphs is not one of them. (FYI: They are: All That, Angry Beavers, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Blue's Clues, Caitlin's Way, CatDog, Cousin Skeeter, Double Dare 2000, Hey Arnold, Kablam!, Little Bill, Nick News, Oh Yeah! Cartoons!, Rocket Power, Rugrats, SpongeBob SquarePants and The Wild Thornberrys.) It is possible for Animorphs to return with reruns or, if it does well, for new episodes to air as a mid season replacement.

Well with a six episode second season it was bound to happen. Nickelodeon issued a press release on it's Fall season and Animorphs is not listed as a returning show. This is a Brooke site, so it will stay open, with (hopefully) the latest on her career.
