It's Brooke's birthday today and on behalf of all the visitors -- Happy Birthday Brooke! She
turns 21!

While FOX has axed Skin, the producers are looking around to find a way to get the final
episodes aired. From the Nov. 29 - Dec. 5 issue of TV Guide:
[Executive producer Jim Leonard] and Jonathan Littleman who heads up [Jerry] Bruckheimer's
TV operation have been reduced to having the kind of last-ditch discussions that occur whenever a worthy
series gets the hook.
"We've discussed trying to sell it to HBO, Showtime or FX, but they're all longshots," says Leonard.
Another option? Turn the three episodes that aired and the five never seen into a miniseries. Says
Leonard hopefully, "There's closure with Episode 8."

Unfortunately FOX has decided to pull the plug on 'Skin' only after three episodes, meaning
Brooke's episode will remained unaired. There are currently two online petitions trying to save the
series:
While it may not bring back the series, hopefully enough notice can be gained so that the unaired episodes
will be aired or perhaps some other network will pick up the series and air all the episodes (including
Brooke's) that was produced.

Brooke reprises her role as 'Roxy' on episode 8 of FOX's drama 'Skin'. Airdate info will be
posted as soon as we get more information.

A lot of news and appearances to look forward to!
Brooke on FOX's New Series, Skin
Congratulations to Brooke on her first Hollywood gig, a guest starring role on the new FOX series
'Skin'. She appears in episode 3 as "Roxy", the best friend of Jewel Goldman (played by actress Olivia
Wilde) and will be recurring in at least one another episode.
Skin airs Mondays and Thursdays (which repeats Monday's episode) on FOX at 9:00 PM.
Strange Days at Blake Holsey High
Brooke recently filmed a guest appearance on the Discovery Kid's/NBC series "Strange Days at Blake
Holsey High." The series airs (in the NYC area) as part of NBC's Saturday morning lineup at 12:00
noon EST and on the Discovery Kids channel. Please check your local listings for airdates and times.
Brooke's episode is #215 so it looks like it'll be airing either later this year or early next year.
She plays Diana Music, a new girl at school who seems to know a lot about Venus Fly Traps, perhaps a
little too much.
Seriously Weird to Air on WAM!
Starting November 2, 2003, 'Seriously Weird' will be airing on WAM! so be sure to check your local
listings for dates and times. A complete list of episodes Brooke appears in can be found
here.

Not much going on, but here's an update on what Brooke's been doing, straight from Brooke:
"I took some time off for a bit, and am now getting back into the swing of things. I took advantage
of some opportunities to study my craft and some other aspects of the biz including editing and
filmmaking. I hope to someday have experience in the wider spectrum of the filmmaking process... it
all intrigues me!!
In the meantime, I'll be auditioning and hopefully, by the next time I get back to you, I'll be busy
on my next project!"
