'4400' News
Brooke does indeed return in the episode "The Home Front" which airs on July 16th. Here's
the scoop on her appearance:
"Nikki returns for an appearance in Ep. 26 'The Home Front' of the 4400. Nikki, who has been away at
college, reappears in dire need of Shawn's gift for her ailing father who is on death's door with cancer.
Shawn is glad to help and the reunion of the two brings back memories of a relationship never fully
realized. Reluctant to continue his relationship with Isabelle, who is growing ever more persistent and
manipulative in her resolve to keep them together, Shawn allows himself to entertain the notion of getting
to know Nikki again..."
And remember those
4400 trading cards? Be sure to keep an eye out for them this month. The autograph cards are "the real
deal because [she's] signed about 900 of them!"
A New Movie For Brooke!
Straight from Brooke:
"I've been busy filming another movie!! It is an independent film from Starry Entertainment called
'Sherman's Way' starring Michael Shulman, James Le Gros, Enrico Colantoni and myself. It was filmed in a
beautiful region of Northern California called Lake County near Napa Valley. It follows the story of
Palmer, an eccentric former Olympic has-been who prefers leisure to work, who finds himself stuck with
Sherman, a rigid pre-law Yale student with no time for wasting time. Between skinny dipping and stealing
cars, this odd-couple learns from each other that balance is the key to getting the girl, getting the job
and getting a life...
I play the girl: "Addy", a ballsy spirit who works behind the counter at the local Has-Everything-Store
in the small town of Winters. Sherman meets Addy when he comes in to buy some toiletries and t-shirts on
his first morning in town, and he eventually draws up the courage to ask her out for some coffee and then
a real date. Wholesome, yet not innocent, you wouldn't expect her to be the world traveller or artist
that she is. She a kind of quirky girl with an eclectic interest in the world around her, who loves
sunflower crops, paints motorcycle tanks and thinks pocket change is cool because "when you enter a room,
that jingle of coins will bring on memories of sleigh bells and jackpots."
I had such a great time filming this!! The director is Craig Saavedra, and the script was written by
Tom Nance. The movie is slated for a summer 2007 release."
